Jasper Engines & Transmissions enters into heavy-duty and over-the-road applications, reinstating turbocharger distribution with BorgWarner Turbo Systems. BorgWarner is one of the largest turbocharger manufacturers in the world and offers a variety of engine and drivetrain solutions for passenger cars, light-duty commercial diesel and heavy-duty over-the-road applications.
Jasper Engines & Transmissions officially started transmission production at its new Drivetrain Remanufacturing facility in Jasper, Indiana, September 8th. The first transmission remanufactured was a front-wheel drive GM 4T65E. It was the culmination of a well planned and dedicated strategy that took place since the announcement to acquire the 220,000 square foot building in April.
Hudsons, Hudsons, Hudsons! Four groups from the H-E-T Club visited the Jasper facility July 23. These three graced our front lawn.
Recently, members of the Hudson, Essex, Terraplane (H-E-T) Club held an International Meet at the nearby French Lick Springs Resort. Their activities included a July 23rd tour of our Jasper remanufacturing facility.
JASPER Engine sponsored professional fisherman Chad Morgenthaler on modifying the Lunker Lure Gillraker. In the fall, just as many bass can be found shallow as deep. They relate to different types of structure, but they have the same thing in mind – feed up for the winter months. Unfortunately, fishing the umbrella rig in and around shallow water structure can create a lot of difficulties and frustration, which has brought about the need for serious bait modification.
