The JASPER Rolling Showcase had a successful trip to PA

Our Performance Crew traveled eastward to Carlisle, PA for the Spring Carlisle Collector Car Swap Meet and Corral. This five-day spring event hosted thousands of collector and classic automotive enthusiasts, with over 8,000 vending spaces, 2,000 vehicles for sale at the car corral and even a two-day car auction with well over 300 cars crossing the block. 

Our friendly JASPER representatives answered questions about reviving your ride and featured our new; Jasper EcoTech Flex Lights, JASPER 70th anniversary tacker signs, assorted performance parts & accessories and even a cut-away Cup Car Engine.

Hoosier Model A's Car Club Visits

The Hoosier Model A’s, a car club out of the Anderson, Indiana area, visited our Jasper facility this morning. “We were all very impressed with the magnitude of the facility and what JASPER’s doing,” stated club member Mike Mattingly. There were eleven Model A’s in the group, one of which was recently brought out of a 40-year storage; its engine was remanufactured by JASPER over 50 years ago.

Improve Gas Mileage


With gas prices high, our drivers are asking, "What can I do to improve gas mileage?"  Our answer is that there are quite a few standard maintenance tips that will help you increase gas mileage and your vehicle safety. 

One of the first things you should check is tire pressure.  There is no one size fits all and it is a pretty easy thing to check at home and fix.  On the inside of the driver’s door or door jamb is a plate that indicates the correct tire pressure. Careful – there might be a different pressure for the front and rear tires. Check them at least once a month.

JASPER Adds Jobs - Expanding Operations


Jasper Engines and Transmissions Expansion of Manufacturing Operations

Jasper, Indiana (April 30, 2014) – CEO Doug Bawel joined state and local officials in announcing the company’s plans to expand its footprint in Jasper, Indiana, to create additional jobs and reinvest in the former Kimball Plastics manufacturing facility located at 1220 Power Drive in Jasper, Indiana.

“Jasper Engines & Transmissions is a great Indiana economic success story. The company that has prospered and provided thousands of jobs for Hoosiers for over 70 years is expanding again,” said Lt. Gov. Ellspermann. “We continue to see how our business-friendly tax and regulatory policies plus our dedicated workforce make Indiana a place where companies want to expand and locate.
